Karthik and Tamannah starrer Paiyya which has been acquired by Dhyanidhi Alagiri and his Cloud Nine will be a summer release and is expected to hit the screens in April. Could 9 will be distributing the movie and has already been a successful distributor with Vaaranam Ayiram and Tamizh Padam. They are also producing Thoonga Nagaram.
The music which has already hit a note is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Paiya is Lingusamy’s next directorial venture after Bheema. Madhi will take care of cinematography. Editing is by Anthony and lyrics are by Na Muthukumar and Yugabharathi.
