ASIN’S DOPPELGANGER
She’s called Asin’s doppelganger and rightly so. Probably the pressure is building up on the up-and-coming Poorna, who was hailed as next Asin by Vijay. Much as she loves Asin, Poorna denies that she tries to emulate her. “I am a big time fan of Asin. But when it comes to my style, I have a style of my own and do not try to duplicate her. I know you can only sustain in this industry if you are unique,” she was quoted as saying. Ahem!
