Vikram Kumar says why 24 was dropped

24 is the film which was supposed to have Vikram in thelead to be directed by Vikram Kumar who directed Yaavarum Nalam. The shooting of the film produced by Mohan Natarajan took place for some days. But all of a sudden the film was dropped. Vikram Kumar while speaking said,” I wrote this film screenplay keeping Vikram in mind. He also agreed and we commenced the shooting. But when I tried to finalize the story, there were some difference of opinions. So it is difficult to make a film with difference of opinions. So we decided to part ways.
Apart from this there were no problems between me and Vikram and producer. For time being the story needs to be polished more, so this may take few weeks. After this only the hero and the producer will be finalized. When a new hero is signed then some changes has to be made in the screenplay.”
