Shruthi Haasan to pair with Surya

Surya is currently acting in the film Singam directed by Hari. The film which is supposed to revolve around smuggling has Surya in the cop role after Kaaka Kaaka.
Anushka is pairing with Surya while Prakash Raj is in a significant role. Vivek takes care of the comedy track. This is Surya’s 25th film produced by Studio Green’s Gnanavel Raja.
Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. This film is to hit the screen on April the 14th. Now after this Surya will be doing the lead role in the film to be directed by A R Murugadoss.
There were lot of speculation in the air that who would pair with Surya in this film. Asin was tipped off as the heroine who would play the love interest of Surya.
Now to put an end to all these wild speculations, it is now confirmed that Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruthi Haasan would pair with Surya in this project to be produced by Udayanidhi Stalin. Ravi K Chandran will be handling the camera while Harris Jayaraj is composing the music.
Currently Shruthi is acting with Siddarth in a Telugu film titled Yodha. The shooting of this film directed by Prakash Kovelamudi is progressing at a rapid pace.
